It’s reported that the Korea’s steelmaker Posco announced to remain its prices for stainless coils unchanged for November, in spite of rising nickel prices.
After the announcement, its list prices for 304 grade hot rolled coils (HRC) are KRW3.2 million/ton; those for 304 grade cold rolled coils (CRC) are KRW3.47 million/ton; those for 430 grade HRC and CRC are at KRW2.14 million/ton and KRW2.52 million/ton respectively.
Posco stated that it decided to keep stainless steel prices flat for November due to weak demand in Korean market.
It’s learned that Korea’s stock levels of stainless CRC rose by 10% quarter on quarter to 66,000 tons by the end of the third quarter.
