According to America the Ministry of Commerce, March 6, 2014 Ministry of Commerce made the preliminary ruling American on imports of Russia and Venezuela ferro silicon alloy anti-dumping. Preliminary results suggest that Venezuelan ferrosilicon anti dumping margin of 27.3%, while Russia ferrosilicon anti dumping margin of 0, but this is only a preliminary ruling, then additional investigation, the final results should be American International Trade Commission to make.
America Department of Commerce in July 19, 2013 launched the anti-dumping investigation on imported Venezuela and Russia ferro silicon alloy. The anti-dumping investigation was initiated by the America several ferrosilicon production enterprises: Globe Specialty Metals, Inc. ("GSM"), CC Metals and Alloys, LLC ("CCMA"), American United Steel Workers Union (the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union ("USW")), and USA automotive, aerospace and tools America Workers International Union (the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America ("UAW")) the goods for 7202.21.10, 7202.21.50, 7202.21.75, 7202.21.90, and 7202.29.00 (USA customs code HTS). According to the American Ministry of Commerce statement, Russia ferrosilicon dumping in the range of 21.85-60.78%, and Venezuela ferrosilicon dumping margin in the 20.07-60.11%. The initial survey in September 3, 2013, the 6 Council members are voted.
